THE LIMIT
5,000
The most packs there can ever be. Nobody can make more.
IN EVERY PACK
+
One Scout ID and one Egg. Every pack is the same until it is opened.
NOBODY CHOOSES
DRAWN
What you get is drawn by a public random number that nobody can choose, the makers included.
STEP BY STEP
What a pack gives you, one step at a time. Each step opens its details.
1THE PACK
The Store sells packs through your wallet, on Robinhood Chain. A pack stays sealed until you open it in the game.
Everyone pays the same price, in every phase of the sale.
2A SCOUT ID
You open packs in the game after you sign in, with one signature each and a small network cost. The Scout ID's look is drawn as the pack opens. The game finishes drawing it in a few seconds. Then you choose your Scout and give yourself a name.
You open one pack to enter the game. Any others can stay sealed and open later from your Profile.
3AN EGG
The Egg comes out sealed and goes in with your Quest Items. Its Spirit is not decided yet.
An Egg never expires.
4A SPIRIT
Its Spirit is drawn from the collection the moment you wake the Egg.
Every Spirit you hold is kept in your Atlas.
5MINE ORO
A woken Spirit can be staked without leaving your wallet. It mines Bound Oro, kept for you and only spent in the game.
SCOUT IDS
In the world of Inkwood, Scouts are mapmakers who record the Spirits they meet. Your Scout ID makes you one of them.
- No two Scout IDs look alike. There can never be more than 5,000.
- Each look is built from twelve kinds of trait, from the background to the aura.
- In the game you walk as your own Scout. With more than one Scout you can switch from the Profile.
- One Scout can boost one staked Spirit. Staking has the details.

A few of the 5,000. The one in your pack is drawn when it opens.
EGGS
Until you wake it, an Egg stays sealed in your Backpack.

- Its Spirit is only drawn when you wake it, by a public random number.
- You wake it by playing the Minting Journey, the game's first journey.
- Waking it takes one signature from your wallet and a small network cost.
- It can wait as long as you like. Once woken, it leaves your Backpack and the Spirit is yours.
SPIRITS
Spirits are the creatures of Inkwood. Every Egg becomes one when it is woken.
- Every Spirit is one of 1,025 kinds, each with a name of its own.
- Each Spirit has one of six tiers: common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary or mythic. Its tier never changes.
- One Spirit of your choice walks beside you as you explore.
- Wild Spirits roam the game as well. You record those in your Atlas.

STAKING
Staking happens in your own wallet. A staked Spirit mines Bound Oro, Oro that is only spent in the game.
How much Oro a common Spirit mines a day: not decided yet.
- Only a woken Spirit can be staked. It stays in your wallet the whole time.
- A staked Spirit mines Bound Oro, kept for the player who staked it. There is no claim.
- Its tier sets its rate, as a multiple of a common Spirit's: uncommon 1.2, rare 1.5, epic 2, legendary 3, mythic 9.
- One Scout can boost one Spirit. The boost is set by the Scout's public traits, and it is one of +10%, +17%, +24%, +32% or +40%.
- Staking Spirits of different tiers adds 5% for each different tier, up to 25%.
- A Spirit mines 5% more while its own wallet holds a set small amount of a listed Stock Token. The list is fixed: SPY, QQQ, NVDA, MU, AAPL, GOOGL, META, PLTR, MSTR, COIN, SPCX, TSLA, GLD, AMZN, AMD, INTC, GME and CRCL. While a Stock Token's own issuer pauses it, its 5% is off.
- All of these together can at most double a Spirit's rate.
- Mining slowly falls over time, because each 14 days pays out 2% of what is left in the pot. This never stops.
- A staked Spirit that leaves your wallet keeps mining for you until the game clears its stake. What it mined stays yours. A Spirit never carries mined Oro to its next owner.
Everything else about Oro is on its own page.
