IN YOUR WALLET
STAYS
A staked Spirit never leaves your wallet. Staking moves nothing.
AT MOST
2x
Every boost together can at most double a Spirit's rate.
EVERY 14 DAYS
2%
The pot pays out 2% of what remains, so it never empties.
STEP BY STEP
How staking works, one step at a time. Each step opens its details.
1AN EGG
You wake an Egg by playing the Minting Journey, the game's first journey. Its Spirit is drawn the moment it wakes.
A sealed pack cannot be staked either.
2A SPIRIT
Staking, unstaking and every change take one signature from your own wallet and a network cost, paid by you. The Spirit stays in your wallet the whole time.
No Scout is needed to stake.
3IT MINES
Its tier sets how fast it mines. What it mines is kept for you in the game, and there is no claim.
What a Spirit has mined is saved for you when you unstake, pair a Scout, unpair it, or turn the stock perk on or off.
4SPEND IT
Bound Oro is the same Oro, held in the game for you. You spend it there, and it can never be sold or sent to a wallet. Spent Oro is destroyed.
Nobody can unbind it.
HOW FAST
Every Spirit's tier sets how fast it mines, against a common Spirit.
How much Oro a common Spirit mines a day: not decided yet.
- Mining slowly falls over time, because each 14 days pays out 2% of what is left in the pot. This never stops.
- Every Spirit gets its full rate until the staked Spirits, boosts included, outweigh the whole collection without boosts. Beyond that, every rate scales down together.

BOOSTS
A boost counts from the moment it applies, and each one adds to a Spirit's rate.
+10% TO +40%
One Scout can boost one Spirit. The boost is set by the Scout's public traits, and it is one of +10%, +17%, +24%, +32% or +40%.

UP TO +25%
Staking Spirits of different tiers adds 5% for each different tier, up to 25%.
Any tier can come first. The bonus applies to every Spirit staked from the same wallet.
+5%
A Spirit mines 5% more while its own wallet holds a set small amount of a listed Stock Token.
In the game, each Spirit's perk is the Stock Token tied to its type. A Spirit of two types takes either of its two.
The stock perk counts from the moment you turn it on, while the Stock Token stays in the Spirit's own wallet. If it is gone at the next save, the perk since the last save is lost.
While a Stock Token's own issuer pauses it, its 5% is off.
2x
All of these together can at most double a Spirit's rate.
THE POT
500,000,000
Half of all Oro goes to the staking contract, for Spirits to mine.
Each fortnight the pot pays out 2% of what remains, shared among the staked Spirits by tier.
- Whatever the staked Spirits do not mine stays in the pot for the fortnights after.
- Staking has no owner, no admin, no pause and no upgrade. Nobody can change it or release Bound Oro from it to a wallet.
Everything else about Oro is on its own page.
IF IT LEAVES YOUR WALLET
What happens to staking when a Spirit or a Scout changes hands.
- A staked Spirit that leaves your wallet keeps mining for you until the game clears its stake. What it mined stays yours. A Spirit never carries mined Oro to its next owner.
- A Stock Token in a Spirit's own wallet belongs to that Spirit: if the Spirit is sold or sent, it goes with it. Take it out first.
- A Scout boosts only while it stays in your wallet. If it leaves, its Spirit loses the boost back to its last save, so unpair it first.
- The game's keeper can only end a stake whose Spirit has left its owner's wallet, or a Scout's boost once that Scout has left. Anyone can do that.
